Two ways to build tiers
Feature tiers: higher price unlocks more features.
Capacity tiers: higher price raises limits (seats, storage, usage). Every tier gets the same features.
Crittiks’ model
All tiers include all six suites. Differences are capacity: Pro 8 seats at $99.95; Platinum 15 seats at $139.95; Diamond 30 seats at $179.95; Enterprise is custom pricing. Add-ons: seats $8, mailboxes $5, AI credits $10 per 1,000, signature envelope overage $0.35. Preset roles on Pro; custom roles on Platinum.
Advantages
Predictable cost. No feature gating games. Simple comparisons.
Limits
You may pay for capacity you don’t use. Caps matter: check them.
What to check on any flat-tier plan
What is capped, what overage costs, and whether a missing feature is hidden in the ‘capacity’ list.
How Flat Tiers Compare With Per-Seat Pricing
Per-seat pricing multiplies a unit price by headcount, so each hire adds to the bill. A flat tier charges one figure until you reach the cap, then steps up. For a team of 5 the two can look similar; the gap tends to appear as the team grows or as you add tools that each charge per user.
What to Check Before You Commit
Ask what exactly is capped: seats, storage, AI usage, signatures or mailboxes. Ask what overage costs and whether you can see usage before you hit a limit. Confirm that the features you need are in the tier you are pricing, not listed as a paid extra. A flat price is only useful if the caps fit how you work.
When Flat Tiers Are the Wrong Fit
If you are one or two people, a cheap per-seat tool may cost less. If you need a single deep specialist feature, a flat bundle may not match it. Flat pricing suits teams of roughly four to twenty-five who use several functions together.
Where Crittiks Fits, and Where It Doesn’t
Crittiks is an operating system for small service businesses: Sales, Projects, Communications, Finance, Admin and AI on one client record, with a client portal and two-way Xero and QuickBooks sync. Pro is $99.95 a month for up to 8 seats; Platinum is $139.95 for up to 15, and annual billing saves 20%. It does not provide dispatch, inventory, payroll or a general ledger, and Crittiks Marketing has not launched. If flat tier pricing is mainly about one of those, a specialist tool may serve you better.
Test It Against Your Own Work
Reading about flat tier pricing only goes so far. The Crittiks 14-day trial needs a card to start but charges nothing during the trial. Use it on one live client: create the record, send a quote, attach the contract, set up the project and raise an invoice. Note every moment you reach for another tool. Those moments tell you whether a single workspace fits how you work, and what you would still keep outside it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is flat-tier unlimited?
No.
What do I get in each tier?
The same suites; different capacity.
What are overage rates?
See add-on rates on the pricing page.
Is annual cheaper?
Yes, 20%.
Is flat-tier pricing cheaper than per-seat?
It depends on team size and how many tools you replace. Compare the total monthly cost of your current stack against the tier price at your headcount, and again at the headcount you expect in a year.
Is there a free trial of Crittiks?
Yes. New workspaces get a 14-day trial. A card is required to start, but nothing is charged during the 14 days, and you see the exact plan and first charge date before your card is used.
